THE ACDCNM MISSION
STATEMENT
The Club will encourage members and
others to do all possible to bring the natural qualities of Australian
Cattle Dogs to perfection according to the Breed Standard; urge members
and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The
American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which
Australian Cattle Dogs shall be judged; do all in its power to protect
and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike
competition at dog shows, working, obedience and agility trials; and
conduct sanctioned matches, specialty shows, obedience, working and
agility trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.
VISION
The nonprofit ACDCNM seeks to be certified by The
American Kennel Club as a statewide club for breeders, owners, trainers,
and handlers of Australian Cattle Dogs. Upon recognition, we will hold
AKC sanctioned events in conformation, agility, herding and obedience.
